Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor
Would you like to increase your body’s flexibility, tone and strength and have better functional mobility? As an Oxfordshire-based Pilates instructor offering online and studio-based mat and reformer classes for the Henley, Wallingford and Benson areas, I can help you to achieve this.
With an emphasis on postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance, Pilates is a body conditioning method suitable for any age, gender or fitness level. Whether you are looking to generally improve your fitness level or to improve a specific condition, such as Pilates for back pain, or are a sportsperson looking to complement your existing fitness programme, I offer a variety of classes to suit your needs.
Online & studio-based classes
Small and friendly group classes to suit all level, from beginners Pilates to intermediate and advanced, as well as specialised classes including Pilates for men and Pilates for seniors. Online Pilates classes are ‘live-streamed’ via Zoom and face-to-face classes are held at Studio One, Nettlebed, a fully-equipped studio with parking.
Group studio-based classes
Small group reformer classes designed to build muscle strength and improve your Pilates practice. Ideal for both those new to working on this popular piece of Pilates equipment and for the more advanced student, the reformer gives you a low impact, high intensity full body workout! You’ll discover exactly where your muscle imbalances are to really improve your alignment and Pilates technique.
Studio or home visits
Book a session that’s tailored especially to you! Ideal if you have specific areas you wish to concentrate on or require a more remedial class, a 1-2-1 Pilates mat or reformer session will give you a personalised exercise programme designed around your needs and can be booked at a time to suit you. Lessons can be held at Studio One, Nettlebed, nr Henley or matwork sessions can be held in your own home.
